Discipline is actually an expression of love. Parents must recognize the power of words, learn how to manage a meaningful emotional account with your child, then you can make discipline an act of love.

Learning Needs

Parents’ love for their children is “unreserved”, but sometimes negative words and curses are often imposed on the child with emotions. Build or destroy the child’s life in the mouth of the parents, we can choose to plant the seeds of praise or curse on the child’s body, parents need to understand the amazing power of words.

Program Overview

This workshop will lead you to learn how to make discipline an act of love. Through practice, you will understand how to use positive words and praises to react to your child, to cultivate your child in a loving relationship, to avoid educating your child in anger, to recognize the love languages from yourself and your child, to use the words of love, and to invest in your emotional account.

Program Delivery

This program integrates theories and scientific findings to guide you through practice, self-discovery and video aids so as to enhance your awareness. Being fun and interactive, the program helps you to instill knowledge of brain development and cognition, to reflect from within, to plan and act, and to completely change your ways of interactions with your baby.

Dr. Carol Wang is a Taiwanese. She obtained her PhD degree of Clinical Psychology from East China Normal University. Carol became a certified China-licensed Counselor in 2007 and was joint certified as an intimate relationship trainer by Focus on Family (US) & China Social Work Association. She has lectured in various business enterprises and corporates, such as Bao Steel Corporate, Schneider, Eastman Chemical Company, TSMC, and China Eastern Airline, etc.

Carol is now leading the program design and learning of AITIA Family Learning Center. She is a senior counselor of parent-child education and specialized in changing family relations, focuses on mindful parenting through increasing parents' self-awareness to enable growth. Carol is experienced in EFT (Emotional Focus Therapy) which helps patients to cope with traumatic events, and practices SFT (Solution Focused Therapy) to assist adolescents overcome behavioral problems. She uses mindfulness techniques to enhance individual and family relationships. She is a clinical member and the secretary of SIMHA, a multidisciplinary professional association of therapists who provide mental health services to the international communities in Shanghai and is an International EAP Instructor/Counselor of Workplace Options. Carol was invited by CEO Global as a guest lecturer in Shanghai Jiao-tong University, Fu-Dan University, Tong-Ji University, East China Normal University and Shanghai International Studies University. She undertakes as the chief psychological supervisor of Chang-Ning District Research Institute. Carol has a great passion and devotes herself to strengthen marriage and family to promote the nurturing of happy family and a harmonious society.
