The Work of Byron Katie is an inquiry into our thoughts that provides us with the framework of questions we need to change our beliefs and pull us out of our self-inflicted suffering.
The program includes short talks, live demonstrations, skill-based experiential exercises, and supervised practice. You will be provided direct and immediate guidance and feedback during practice to apply the four simple The Work questions to your stressful beliefs.

As humans, we are naturally loving, our intimate relationships are the source of our joy and our frustration. They provide us with support, friendship and love, and yet it is also the cause of stress as it tests our patience, trust and good will.
But why so many people suffer from intimate relationship? In our intimate relationships, the fear, guilt and control rooted in our beliefs that cause pain and suffering are easily activated. And we easily stick to what we think our partner should be and our relationship should look like instead of appreciating for who our partner truly is and what we have in relationship.
Our mind is a powerful force; it is like it has a life of its own. It creates thoughts and it makes us believe that those thoughts are the reality. When we are unaware of our thoughts, one thought will lead to another and another. It has its own conversation and even dialogue with each other. When we are consumed by our thoughts and believe they are real, we are not able to be with our partner as they are, rather we see them from our lenses. We project what we believe. This is the source of our suffering.
Byron Katie, founder of The Work, has one job: to teach us how to end our own suffering. What we believe is all we can project out, as long as we believe it. After we question our beliefs, we can only project out what we know to be true, and thus our whole world changes. Through The Work process, anyone can learn to trace unhappiness to its source and deal with it there at its root. It gives you the tool to open your minds and set yourselves free to enjoy loving relationship as it is.
Christine is the only certified facilitator from mainland China for “The Work” by Byron Katie. She enjoys offering this workshop and celebrating the outcome in those who attend = real growth in both the personal and professional arena.
